Most of the time, the culprit is a messy thermal field in your PET blower. Usually, it comes down to your quartz lamps either wearing out or just not putting out the right kind of heat. The nitty-gritty of heat distribution Here is the thing: the placement of that tiny tungsten filament matters. A lot. If it’s off by even a fraction, you get “cold spots.” And cold spots mean ruined production runs. We make our replacement lamps to fit the OEM footprint exactly. We use high-purity fused quartz because it lets the infrared radiation hit the preform evenly from one end of the tube to the other. It just works. Getting them installed These are simple drop-in replacements. Whether you’re on 230V or 400V, we’ve calibrated the wattage to match your specific resin grade. Plus, we use standard R7s or SK15 connectors. That means you can just plug them in and get back to work without messing around with your sockets. One quick tip: high-wattage tubes put out a ton of heat. Make sure your oven fans are actually doing their job.
